School visits / Day Trips

Our new, £1.4 million centre accommodates up to 70 children plus 7 staff in comfortable and pleasant rooms. Teachers have individual rooms and the children stay in log cabin style dormitories. We have a large dining hall, two ultra modern classroom/meeting areas, a TV and games lounge, an arts and crafts room, a medical room and outdoor play areas.

The centre has been purpose built, and we considered input from past guests to ensure that we have not missed any important features. Full disabled access and facilities are available.

Our skilled staff are on hand to provide full support, including during evening activities. It is this unique combination of a state-of-the-art centre and experienced staff that makes Lincolnsfields unique. Add to that our pleasant country setting, with its pond, ancient woodland and environmental study area, and we feel confident you can't find a better location for your trip!

Safety is given highest priority, and full risk assessments are available for all activities. These are regularly updated. Our self-contained, 24-acre site is a secure and safe environment.

Programmes can be whatever mixture of learning and fun best suits each group. Work sheets and study materials can be provided for a wide range of National Curriculum study topics at key stages 2 and 3. Evening activities can include a camp fire, quiz night, disco or Bingo, with a member of our team providing support if required. Social interaction is a major focus, and children can learn to be both leaders and good team players.

Our catering staff can provide for all special dietary needs, whether medical, cultural or religious-based. Daily meals include a cooked breakfast and evening meal; lunch is a well-balanced packed lunch, and supper normally includes delicious home made cakes and biscuits. When necessary, groups may opt to be self-catering. (It is also available for Community and Youth Groups.)
