History: Unit K9 WW2. The centre was originally the Operations Headquarters for the USAAF 8th Fighter Command during WW2.

Our hands-on activities,artefacts collection,and living history activities enable teachers to cover almost ALL aspects of this History Unit in ONE visit. Activities cover the Home Front, Children at War, Women at War, and Animals in Wartime.
